Farahat, Mohamed Kuwait         Dr. Farahat joined the Arab Fund in 1996. He oversees electrical and communications projects financed by the Fund. This includes the review of the feasibility studies, performing project evaluation, monitoring the selection of consultants and contractors and the follow-up of projects' progress to ensure that they are completed on time and within the allotted budget. Before joining the Fund, Dr. Farahat spent around 17 years with Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the U.S.A., Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where he held several key management positions that included managing the Technical Training Services Department, the Power System Studies Department, the Advanced Technology Services Department and the National Accounts Department.
