Bayoumi, Riad Abdel Latif Oman         Riad A.L Bayoumi was educated in Khartoum and the UK. He obtained his Medical Degree ( MB BS) in 1967, his PhD ( Biochemistry) in 1973, his MRC Path ( Clinical Biochemistry) in 1975 and FRC Path in 1995. He is currently in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. His previous positions included: Assistant, associate and Full Professor of the University of Khartoum, Sudan from 1977-91 and Professor of Biochemistry at United Arab Emirates University from 1991-97. He has made important contributions to human genetics research in the Sudan, UAE and Oman. In the study of genetic diseases he was instrumental in mapping of Jubert Syndrome, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia and Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia
