Rafea, Ahmed AbdelWahed Egypt         Dr. Ahmed Rafea got his Ph.D. from University Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France and currently is a Computer Science Professor at the American University in Cairo. Dr. Rafea served as the Chair of CS Dept. and Vice Dean at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University. He also served as a Visiting Professor in San Diego State University, and National University in the United States. Dr. Rafea was the principal investigator and manger of several projects for developing Intelligent Systems and Machine Translation in collaboration with European and American Universities. He is currently a member in the Center of Excellence on Data Mining and Computer Modeling, sponsored by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Dr Rafea authored over 130 scientific papers in International and National Journals and Conference Proceedings. His research interests include Natural Language Processing, Machine Translation, Knowledge Engineering, Knowledge Discovery, and Data Mining.
