Al-kuwari, Noura Yousuf Mubarak Qatar         Dr. Noura Yousuf Mubarak Al-kuwari is an Assistant professor of Human Geography (urbzation and population) at Faculty of Education; Qatar University; Doha-Qatar.she received a Bachelors of Art in Education (BAE) in 1979 and a Bachelors of Art in Geography (BAG) in 1980 from Faculty of Education; Qatar University; Doha-Qatar.she received her Masters of Arts in Geography (MAG) in 1987 and Doctorate of Arts in Geography (DAG) in 1994 from Department of Geography; Faculty of Arts; University of Cairo.her research interests are in the field of Demographic studies – Social Geography and Environmental studies – Geography of Urbanization and services . she has several published researches in these fields. she is currently a member of The national committee for forming the demographic policy in Qatar (2006). Since 2004 she is a member of The Gulf geographical society and Society of academic guidance in the Geography program and since 1997 till today a member of The Egyptian geographical society.. She was a member of The team of studying the benefit of the 2004 census (2005), of The project of the demographic strategy in the State of Qatar (2004-2005),of the committee of Academic Guidance in school of humanities and social sciences (1996-1997 ) and the Committee of experimentation and follow-up of the geography curricula of the secondary stage of education (1995-1996 ) . she is also a part of the citizens' team in the sustainable human development project of the State of Qatar (1996-1997) .
