"Sentiment Analysis for Arabic Social Media"

Sentiment analysis refers to discovering the opinions or sentiments expressed in a given  text, which allows drawing insights on a certain topic. In this work, we build a platform for applying sentiment analysis on social media in Arabic. Sentiment classification is obtained through machine learning techniques. Since the colloquial language used in the Egyptian social media is not a standard language, we applied the neural word embedding techniques for feature extraction. The system is being built and tuned for a case study addressing the extraction of the opinion of social media users on products Made in Egypt.
