"Micro Data and analysis of the access to basic services in Egypt”

Accumulation of human capital considered an investment decision, where individuals give up some proportions of income during the period of spending in return of increased future earnings. More attention paid to education, which equip workers with productive skills and the ability to acquire new opportunities. This objective of this research project is three-fold. First, to estimate the rate of return to schooling in MENA countries to learn more about the pattern of rewards to different levels of schooling. Second, to link the structure of returns to education to labour market institutions. Finally, to shed the light on the determinants of family spending on education on one hand and the magnitude of household spending on schooling across varied population groups.
