Omar Elbadawy works as a Regional Land Resources Program Manager in the Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE). He received his Ph.D. degree in 2003 at the Dept of Civil Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt.; and Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Hydrology  from Colorado State University, USA 1995. He has more than 20 years of experience in the management and implementation of numerous environmental projects including water planning, water management, watershed and groundwater modelling and Geographic Information System (GIS)
