Objective:  Introduces the student to the Roman culture in general, as it starts from the geopolitical background of the Roman civilization, and also focuses on the Hellenistic elements as a basis for Roman culture, as it inherited the Hellenistic Roman culture and transferred it to the Modern era. Greek and Roman cultures mingled together to form the classical heritage.

Content: The course deals with the link between Greek and Roman cultures until Rome became a bridge that links Hellenism with modern Europe. Roman history is also considered a source of inspiration in the Modern era in the fields of politics, literature and arts.
