Theatre and development

KIT Tropentheater is a cultural centre focusing on non-Western performing arts. The Tropentheatre's chief aim in presenting these events is to increase knowledge and understanding of other cultures among Dutch audiences, incluidng those with international backgrounds.

The Tropentheater is host to a wide range of performing arts, including plays, music theatre, concerts, cinema and informative programmes, for all ages.
