Using the BA Libraries: Admission Fees
Non-members may purchase library admission tickets from the ticket office located on Port Said Street next to the Commercial International Bank (CIB). Bibliotheca Alexandrina library members may enter the library, without purchasing a ticket by using their membership cards. The library entrance is located in the plaza underneath the elevated walkway.
Bags, purses, books and food are prohibited within the reading areas of the library. Lockers are available at the ticket office for storage of all personal belongings.
Bibliotheca Alexandrina patrons may purchase admission tickets to the museums from individual ticket offices located in front of each museum within the library complex. Patrons are permitted to take pictures and video recordings within the museums for a nominal fee.
