Panel 2: Civil Society

Location: Middle Hall
Reporter: Ms. Najat Fakhfakh

How could the activity of civil societies actually influence the political and social realities of the Mediterranean region? How could it contribute to reviving the consciousness of belonging to a Mediterranean identity? How do we make better use of the existing networks and reinforce the cultural and professional exchanges in the region?

What are the obstacles and difficulties encountered by civil society in different Mediterranean countries? What are the policies required to protect and promote the action of civil societies in the region?
