Inscriptions from Manqabad

The city of Manqabad (or the place of the cups) excavations done Ahmed Bey Kamal unearthed superstructures like are found in the Necropolis of Saqqara does not have a long Christian history however many archaeological remains were found. In this paper, we will give the text and translation of some inscriptions found by Kamal and we will compare these inscriptions with the gravestones either published such as the publication of Abdal-Rahman Abdal-Tawab, Adel Hassan Al-Mansub and Sofia Schaten or some unedited gravestones recently discovered.

We will provide hagiographical and historical commentaries. The paper will be concluded with a conclusion.
