“Beating Cancer Cells to Death with Gold Nanoparticles in More than One Way “

The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences in the Developing World – Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO), will hold a Public lecture entitled: “Beating Cancer Cells to Death with Gold Nanoparticles in More than One Way”.

The lecture will be presented by Professor Mostafa El-Sayed; Professor, School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and it will shed light on the newest findings and techniques in using gold-nanoparticles in cancer treatment.
The lecture will be held in the Great Hall at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conference Center on
23 December 2010 at 14:00 pm.

The lecture is open to the public.
