Dr Rodney Finalle

   Biography
 
Rodney R. Finalle, M.D., F.A.A.P. Director of Global Health at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In his position Dr. Finalle oversees and provides leadership and guidance to a wide variety of Global Health activities throughout the institution. Dr. Finalle provides the strategic vision to the critically important area of global child health. All Global Health efforts, including the David N. Pincus Global Health Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are supported and supervised by Dr. Finalle. Dr. Finalle was the Founder and Executive Director of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Alliance for International Medicine. Dr Finalle is a pediatrician, and former Medical Director of the Children’s Hospital’s Primary Care Center at Cobbs Creek in West Philadelphia. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) he serves on the AAP Section on International Child Health. He completed his pediatric training at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His international work has included extensive work in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Botswana and South Africa.
