The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through the Center for Islamic Civilization Studies and the Women Studies Program at the Academic Research Sector, announces the organization of a series of art workshops held within the framework of the Seminar entitled “Women in the Heritage of Islamic Sciences and Arts,” scheduled to take place on 18–19 November 2025, at Bibliotheca Alexandrina – Conference Center, French Café Hall.

The artistic workshops will cover the following Islamic arts and crafts:

Day One: Designing Decorative Elements in Islamic Art: (Workshops on Textile and Clothing Art, and Arabic Calligraphy Art), on Tuesday, 18 November 2025 at 12:00 – 3:00 pm.

Day Two: Jewelry and Women’s Adornment in Islamic Civilization: (Workshops on Perfume Making and Jewelry Making), on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 12:00– 3:00 pm.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must have a passion for learning handicrafts and artistic skills.
• Each participant may register for only one workshop.
