Specific Objectives: At the conclusion of this module the learner will be able to:

-Define the precepts of the Healthy Community movement

-Demonstrate knowledge of what makes a successful healthy community initiative

Notes: This module will introduce the concept of healthy communities both as a philosophy and process for working within communities to improve health. It will examine environmental threats to the health of communities and how a community can effect change for improvement.
