I think it’s important that future trials be large enough that they can detect adverse perinatal outcome. I think people designing such a trial since we’re concerned about long-range outcome and since it is nearly impossible to do long-range follow-ups on huge numbers of babies, we have to be reasonably certain that the treatment we’re using is in fact beneficial to the baby.
