Visiting Research Fellow in English

Gabrielle Malcolm is a professional writer and editor and Visiting Research Fellow in English with Canterbury Christ Church University. She has taught literature and performance in universities and colleges throughout the UK, and as a Visiting Professor at the University of South Dakota, USA. Her recent books include: Locating Shakespeare in the Twenty-Fisrt Century (Cambridge Scholars, 2012) and Fan Phenomena: Jane Austen (Intellect, 2015).

She is a script-writer for children's theater, including the Children's Theatre Company, Moon On A Stick; and writes for digital media in the UK, USA, and Saudi Arabia (Vsauce, and the iRead Festival). Her work has been exhibited at the Tate Gallery, Liverpool; and she is an Associate Books Editor with PopMatters, an online journal of popular culture.
