- You can only enter the library if you have an admission ticket or membership card.
- To check out a book to take home with you, you must have an annual membership.
- The Reference desk is there to respond to your questions and guide you in the use of the library.
- Photocopying is limited to 10% of a book due to the Copyright regulations
- You need to make a reservation to use the internet terminals. Please follow these rules when using the computers:
- You may only use the computer for one (1) hour each day;
- You may not use Library equipment to access illegal websites or those that are obscene or harmful to others, or for any illegal activities;
- You may not use the library’s computers to order things on the Internet
If you do not follow these rules and regulations, your internet privileges will be suspended.
- VCR usage is by reservation only. You may only watch one film or video per day
- You will be fined if you damage any books or equipment. The amount of the fine will be equal to the value of the item damaged plus 30%.
- You may not use your mobile phone in the YP library. Violators will be fined LE 10 for each offense.
- You may not eat or drink in the YP library.
- The Young People's Library is open from Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm, Saturdays and Fridays are closed.
- Subscriptions are: annually EGP 30 , Monthly EGP 10 .
- Please leave your personal belongings at the Safeties (Deposits).
