Arabic Calligraphy and Hieroglyphic Workshops for Children and Young People

 The first workshop is Arabic Calligraphy workshop, which aims to develop the abilities of children and young people to write in Kufic script with its various types. It also aims to identify the different Kufic types, whether in Egypt or the Arab Maghreb, or in Persia, on the different architecture, ceramics or currency, with a historical presentation of the Arabic calligraphy in general. It seeks to open the way to realize its uses on modern architecture and art.

The second workshop is teaching Hieroglyphic words from ancient Egypt. It aims at introducing the ancient Egyptian language, its development, and its various writings forms. It also shed lights on the efforts made to read and understand this language.This workshops aims to train participants to read the ancient Egyptian words written on some Egyptian coins.
