cover

The 17th issue of Abgadiyat includes high quality studies, that shed the light on newly discovered Nabataean and Thamudic inscriptions from Sinai Syria and al-Ula (Saudi Arabi), which add new insights on Nabataean culture and interactions with the people of ancient near East.

Moreover, the ancient Arabic inscriptions were well reflected within the Christian Arabs, because some ancient Arabian tribes seem to have adopted Christianity, thus a review article on the Christian Arabic inscriptions is essential to unlock history ambiguities, and provides an in-depth analysis of such unique inscriptions.
