Daily transportation to venue of the Conference:

Transportation from the hotels in Alexandria  to the venue of the meeting (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) and back will be provided with the organizers  The Public Relations Team will help you with the schedules and locations of the Buses which will make the Trip through the City of Alexandria even more enjoyable..

Meet, Assist and Transport at Airport of Arrival:

The organizers have arranged for your meet, assist and Transport at the airports of arrival.

Our Agents will be awaiting you after customs clearance with an “InWEnt” sign and will assist you with your luggage and transport you directly to your hotel (upon arrival and departure).

In case of changes, missed flights, or re-scheduled flights, you are kindly requested to contact the following Travel Agents for assistance to reach your hotel. The costs of each destination are indicated as well as the contacts. You will get reimbursed for the below amounts and therefore please provide the receipt at the Refunds Desk by the Reception Desks.

Additional information on Transportation between Cairo and Alexandria:

The City of Alexandria can be reached by train, bus, taxi or plane.  There are two airports in the city, Nozha, located 5 Km south from the city; and Burg al-Arab, 50 Km west of Alexandria.

Buses from Cairo to Alexandria:  Superjet is a company that operates comfortable buses from Cairo to Alexandria in about 4-5 hours depending on rush time.  In Cairo you may board them outside the airport  or in front of the Cairo’s Ramses Hilton Hotel.  It arrived to the Mawkaf Station of Alexandria, you can then take a taxi to your hotel. 

Direct Trains from Cairo to Alexandria depart at 04:45, 08:00, 09:00, 12,00, 14:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00 daily.  All Trains are air-conditioned and require pre reservations. Travel duration is about 2 to 2.30 hours and cost L.E. 41-46.

There are several service taxis and Limousines can be ordered from Abound Terminal in Cairo Airport or from Ramses Central Station to Alexandria the trip takes around 3 hours. 

 Ground Transportation in Alexandria:

Taxis:  Capital’s Taxis can be ordered by phone (4210 111) from an ordinary telephone; and its Toll Free: 08009999999 if you call from a local mobile phone you have to dial the Alexandria code fist (03).  These taxis have working meters, air conditioning and well trained, non-smoking drivers. 
In Cairo, the company is called "Cairo Cab" and the numbers are 19730 and (202) 25260086.
Public Taxis: Public taxis are found all over the cities of Cairo and Alexandria. Cairo taxis are notable with their black and white color, while taxis in Alexandria are famous for their orange-yellow and black color. When taking a taxi, you should agree on the fee before your ride.
Tram: it is the cheapest and fastest means of transport in Alexandria.  There are blue and yellow trams; both lines depart from Mahattat Ramla (Terminal).  The blue trams normally run east from Ramleh, while the yellow and red run west.  Route and destinations are written in Arabic
Public Buses: Public buses cover the major cities and are much cheaper, but are usually crowded. However, there are similar air-conditioned buses that charge EGP 2 per trip and prohibit standing on the bus. They are located in the main squares in Cairo and Alexandria
