Member of the Council of the International Society of Behçet's Disease (ISBD). Chairman of Collaborative Trials ISBD Study Group. Honorary Member of the Korean Association of Behçet's Disease. Foundation & management of two non-profit hospitals in Alexandria. Author of 140 publications.
