NASA recently published a stunning image, obtained by the Saturn-bound Cassini spacecraft. The image shows our blue living planet, Earth, through the magnificent rings of Saturn.

 

Earth shows up as a pale blue dot. A magnified version of this image shows the Moon as a faint protrusion. Cassini was looking down on the Atlantic and western coast of North Africa.
