The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is honored to invite sports enthusiasts to participate in "Alexandria Marathon 2026", which will take place on Friday, 6 November 2026.
The event is organized by the Academic Sector’s Women Studies and Social Transformation Program, in collaboration with Alex Runners. It will start from the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s plaza with the aim of promoting sports culture and highlighting the city's status as a premium destination for sports tourism.
Marathon Distances:
• 42 km
• 21 km
• 10 km
• 5 km
• 2 km (youth and family)
• 500 meters (children)
