Training Junior Journalists in the Environmental Field

The program is organized by the BA Center for Environmental Studies, in collaboration with the Institut d'Égypte and the Internews Earth Journalism Network.

It aims to prepare a new generation of journalists specializing in the environmental field so that they can extract information from trusted sources and learn about these sources, such as local and international environmental organizations. Participants will also be trained in writing technical reports and scientific research and analysis. Twenty journalists representing different journalistic organizations—governmental or private sector ones—will take part in the training course. The course will be held at the Institut d'Égypte in Cairo and will include field trips to locations affected by various environmental issues.
