Posted on

The BA airs the proceedings of the Athens Dialogues Conference, organized by the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, in collaboration with eight leading world class academic institutions, from 24 to 27 November 2010.

This comes in light of the constant collaboration between the Onassis Foundation and the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, and in cooperation with the University of Alexandria.

Over 4 days, the international conference tackles the Greek culture and its role in modern society. Leading thinkers, academics, scientists and intellectuals from all over the world will gather to discuss, debate, and open new routes of thought on issues of universal and diachronic interest, such as: Identity and Difference, Stories and Histories, Logos and Art, Democracy and Politeia, Science and Ethics, and Quality of Life.

The Opening Session is aired on 24 November 2010 at 10 am, while the rest of the sessions starts daily on 9 am at the BA Gad Rausing Auditorium, Main Library.
