Children’s Shows

Shows can be scheduled for 4–9 year old children and are designed to explain and describe the history of the Ancient Library of Alexandria and the building of the New Library in a simplified manner using animation. These presentations are available everyday (except Friday and Saturday)—via prior reservation only—at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am. The presentations last for approximately 45 minutes each, along with a tour of the library building.

• Additionally, 6–11 year old children may visit the Children’s Library, but a prior reservation should be made (contact ext:1628).

• The minimum number of children required to screen any of the shows is 20.
