The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) is organizing the seventh Science Festivity under the overarching theme of “Natural Hazards”. The Festivity aims to advance and share the knowledge of hazards mitigation and disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Increasing public awareness of natural hazards risk shall significantly reduce the risks of the death, injury, economic cost, and destruction of natural and cultural resources caused by natural disasters.
