vision

Cities, immigration and cultural diversity

The National Egyptian network of organizations cooperating with the Anna Lindh Foundation, aims at working with its member organizations and with similar organizations in other Euro Mediterranean countries as well as with the ALF, to promote the aims, the values and the principles of the Foundation, normally better understanding, better knowledge of the other through intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue.

We believe that it is our responsibility to help overcome mutual incomprehension and to ensure that the people of the Mediterranean understand that their attachment to their identity, their culture, their history and their civilization is in no way in contradiction with cooperating and understanding other cultures and other civilizations.

Cities, immigration and cultural diversity

We want to work for a Euro Mediterranean area where diversity becomes a source of mutual cultural enrichment and where no culture pretends to super cede or dominate others, where better understanding open the way not only to a worldwide multidisciplinary cooperation in the service of all the people of the area but also would reinforce peace and create the atmosphere and conditions conducive to the solution of conflicts.

As a part of the ALF, we share the responsibility of conveying the message of good will on earth and mutual respect and understanding.
