Lectures for Children and Parents at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA)

Alexandria- The Children’s and Young Peoples’ Libraries at the BA are organizing a series of lectures that attract children and build their interactive capacities, in addition to other lectures targeting parents on sound upbringing of children. The series of lectures include a lecture entitled Sunken Antiquities and Its Rescue, by Dr. Mona Hagag, Professor, Antiquities Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. The lectures are divided into two parts; the first on Wednesday 28 June 2006, and the second on Wednesday 5 July 2006.

The Children’s and Young Peoples’ Libraries is organizing on Wednesday 5 July 2006 a lecture entitled Parental Guidance on Children with Special Needs by Dr. Maisa El-Nayal, Head of Psychology Department, Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, to parents who have children with special needs. The lecture will focus on how to deal with children with special needs and how they should be accepted in the society.

The lectures start at 12:00 hrs at the BA Auditorium.
