A Voyage to the Sun Launched from the Bibliotheca Alexandria (BA)

Alexandria—the BA Planetarium Science Center is organizing a scientific lecture entitled "A Voyage to the Sun".
The lecture studies the nature of the sun, its characteristics, and the tools and devices through which SOHO (Solar & Heliospheric Observatory) examines the sun. The lecture also includes a presentation of tremendous photos of the sun taken by SOHO. SOHO has been studying the sun for more than ten years, during which it has taken thousands of photos of the sun, and presented hundreds of new discoveries that changed our perception of the sun, the mother star, and the whole solar system. The lecture is a continuity of the series of lectures by the PSC that started last year.
The lecture will start at 12:00 hrs at the BA Auditorium.
