Lecture: Planetary Moons in the Solar System

Alexandria—the BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC) will organize on Monday, 19 March 2007, a lecture entitled " Planetary Moons in the Solar System".
The lecture is a virtual space exploration and a demonstration of the physical and dynamical characteristics of the largest moons of the Solar System, focusing on the moons Io and Europa, the largest moons of Jupiter; Triton, the largest moon of Neptune; and Charon, the largest moon of Pluto.
It is worth mentioning that there are more than 160 moons in the Solar System. It is expected that many more would be discovered in the coming years.
The lecture will start at 12:00 hrs. at the BA Auditorium.
