The Institute for Peace Studies Academic Courses for the Year 2008 Comes to an End

The Institute for Peace Studies of the Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement, hosted at the BA, is celebrating the end of its academic courses for the year 2008, on Wednesday 6 August 2008, where students will be given a certificate.
Ambassador Ali Maher, Director of the Institute for Peace Studies, stated that the courses addressed the following subjects: Culture of Peace; Human Rights and Introduction to International Law; Conflict Resolution; and Mediation and Negotiation. He added that the courses were given by specialized university professors from Egypt and abroad including Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Former Secretary-General of the United Nations and currently the President of Egypt's National Council for Human Rights.
