Serageldin Participates in the Global Creative Leadership Summit (GCLS)

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, will be one of 120 delegates participating in the Global Creative Leadership Summit (GCLS), New York City, USA, 21-23 September 2008. The delegates include Heads of States, Nobel Prize Laureates, global CEO’s and technology experts.
The Summit addresses the challenges and opportunities of globalization and explores ways for greater cultural understanding and tolerance. Serageldin will take part in a panel discussing the way forward to establish more stable and open relations between the global community and the Middle East. On another note he will participate in a panel discussing matters relating to Cities, Culture and Globalization. The proceedings of the Summit will be webcast to the world by a wide range of press.
