Cairo Salon Continues to Discuss Environmental Issues

Alexandria— In this week’s episode of the “Cairo Salon” TV Show, aired on Channel One every Saturday at 11:30 pm, Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, will continue to discuss last week’s topic concerning environmental issues.

Serageldin will host Mr. Fawzy Abd El Haleem, Environment Section Supervisor in Al-Ahram Newspaper; Dr. Fatma El Gohary, Head of the Water Pollution Research Department in the National Research Center; Dr. Mawaheb Abu El Azm, Executive Director of the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency; and Dr. Salah El Gohary, Special Advisor to the BA Director.

The episode will tackle the Principles of Environmental Management book, a book that presents a comprehensive coverage of the most vital environmental issues affecting human beings and their existence. Distinguished by providing both theory and implementation, the book focuses its interest on discussing specific environmental issues that are of great importance in today`s world and among which are: global warming, ozone depletion, water pollution, waste management and acid rain.
