The Young People’s Library Celebrates the International Youth Day

The BA Young People’s (YP) Library organizes on Wednesday, 12 August 2009, a celebration on the occasion of the International Youth Day. This year’s celebration tackles the issue of climate change.
The celebration includes a demonstration of a website designed by a group of young people on the erosion of the coasts of Alexandria, a lecture and an exhibition of photographs taken by young people.
The YP Library celebrates the UN International Youth Day annually on 12 August with the participation of young people of the age group 12 to 16 years. It aims at raising global awareness on the responsibility of protecting the environment and environmental sustainability.
The celebration starts at 9:00 am at the BACC Lectures Hall.
