Alexandria International Model Arab League at the BA

Alexandria—The BA Dialogue Forum hosts the third Alexandria International Model Arab League (AIMAL 2009), organized by Adwar Initiative.
This simulation model is a youth activity aiming at encouraging self-learning, developing the awareness, skills and abilities of young people. The idea is to put the participants in an environment that is almost similar to the decision making environment. They could thus discuss the most challenging topics from the decision makers’ point of view, contributing to their active participation in the society.
A series of workshops and training sessions are held to prepare delegates concerning issues related to the model’s different topic, in addition to soft skills such as presentation, negotiation, communication and research skills, as well as critical and creative thinking.
AIMAL preparations are currently in progress. Training sessions are to start in October, and the Conference will take place in November.
