Cultural Heritage: An Agreement of cooperation

Alexandria—An agreement between the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the “Agence Régionale du Patrimoine” of the French region Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur (PACA) was signed, on March 1, by Dr. Serageldin and Mr. Philippe Joutard, President of the “Agence Régionale du Patrimoine”, in the presence of Mr. Michel Vauzelle, President of the PACA region and former French Minister, Dr. Bernard Salomé, Mrs. Marie-Christine Glas, the French Consul in Alexandria, Mr. Denis Louche, Cultural Counselor in the French Embassy in Cairo, Mr. Bernard Millet Director of the “Agence Régionale du Patrimoine” and other members of staff of the institution, along with other members of the cultural delegation from PACA ( Cultural Direction of the PACA Region, Editions Actes Sud, etc.) all in the presence of the Egyptian media.

The agreement concerns a general cooperation related to cultural heritage, and annexed to the exhibit ” A la Découverte des villes de la Méditerranée Antique. Aquarelles de Jean-Claude Golvin”.
