Call for Posters


The Sixth  International Forum of Writings, Calligraphies and Inscriptions held a Poster Session which aimed at providing opportunities for Scholars, to present their work in a professional atmosphere of discussion and interchange.


The themes of The Sixth  International Forum of Writings, Calligraphies and Inscriptions 2015 are numerous, they are focusing on:
 
1. Rock Art in the Arab world and Africa, highlighting its role in the origin of writing.
2. Migration of the first humans out of Africa.
3. Cultural Features of the Main prehistoric sites in the Arab and African countries.
4. World prehistoric cultures (similarities and differences).
5. Environmental Archeological Studies of the prehistoric sites in the Arab and African countries.
6. Geo-Archeology and Anthropology studies and prehistoric studies
7. Dating techniques of the Prehistoric artefacts
8. Restoration of prehistoric sites
9. Megaliths in the Arab and African countries
10. Museum collections and methods of preservation for prehistoric artefacts.

 Your poster should address related subjects in the fields of the previous themes.

The Sixth  International Forum of Writings, Calligraphies and Inscriptions 2015 organizers cordially invite you to submit a poster in the Poster Session at this international conference attended by a wide range of Scholars and specialists.


Application for a Poster

  • The title of the poster and an abstract (from 300-500 words).
  •  A CV with the participant's contact information.
  •  Applicants whose posters have been accepted will be informed in time in order to go on with fees payment and prepare the design.


 Poster Session Registration Fees

Egyptians:                   500 EGP 
Non-Egyptians:           150 USD    

                                   
Fees Registration includes

  • Complete official Forum documentation.
  • Daily Lunch
  • Coffee breaks during the Forum program.
  • Sightseeing Tour including lunch
  • Official attendance letter from the Forum.
  • Poster session presentation which involves a lecture in a hall in the Conference Center, upon request.
