The Planetarium Science Center has appeared on the front cover of Dimensions Magazine latest issue, as a good example for science communication institutions. The PSC publishes articles and news regularly in the magazine, but it is a breakthrough to have the photos of the Science Festivity 2014 on the cover page with elaborate article on the event.

The Planetarium Science Center congratulates Sarah Ezzat, Mona Elsayed and Hoda Mamdouh, Intel BASEF 2014 finalists who won the 3rd grand award at Intel ISEF that was held during the period 11-16 May 2014 at the United States of America, for earning the Medal of Distinction from the Egyptian president Abdel Fatah Elsisi, at the Science Festival organized by the Ministry of Education held at Nasr city conference Center on 8 September 2014.

This month Astronomy Night discusses the basic concepts of astronomy, including differentiations between astronomy and astrology, astronomy and meteorology, and presents methods of identifying the cardinal points.

The lecture will be on Sunday, 3 August 2014, from 18:00–19:30 pm at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center, Great Hall. The lecture is Open to Public.
