The BA Donates a Collection of its Publications to the New Library of Fez

Alexandria— The BA donated a collection of Arabic and foreign publications in various scientific, cultural and intellectual fields to the New Fez Library, which is newly constructed in the Moroccan city of Fez. Dr. Abdul Haq Azzouzi, Director of the Moroccan Multidisciplinary Center, received the donation on behalf of the Mayor of Fez.

Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director of the Library of Alexandria, stated that the New Library of Fez will be a depository library for the BA publications, on the occasion of the elapse of 1200 years on the foundation of the Moroccan city and added that the BA will also provide training and technical support to the new Library of Fez.

The BA Media department launched a campaign in Egypt to collect books by renowned Egyptian and Arab writers, for the New Library of Fez. Dr. Khaled Azab, Director of the BA Media Department, stated that they collected over a hundred books to date, and that the campaign aims to present 5000 titles to the new Library.
