The Swedish Ambassador in a Visit to the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina received yesterday morning H.E. Mr. Håkan Emsgård, the Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, accompanied by a high-level diplomatic delegation from the Swedish Embassy in Cairo.
Ms. Heba El-Rafey, Acting Head of the BA External Relations and Protocol Sector, welcomed the delegation and took them on a tour of the main highlights of the Library.
The Ambassador and the accompanying delegation expressed their delight at what they witnessed at the BA, and praised the research and digital services it provides to readers, researchers, and visitors across all fields, stressing the leading role played by the Library in the dissemination of culture among peoples.
