This publication is the outcome of the online lecture titled “Education for Sustainable Development”, organized by the Center for Special studies and Program s(CSSP), through World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries’ Arab Regional Partner (TWAS-AREP), on 2 November 2022. It aims to shed light on the topic Education for Sustainable Development in the Arab region, by giving an overview of the challenges faced by Arab countries in areas associated with quality education, and it suggests set of potential solutions for the presented challenges.

New Life Sciences: Linking Science to Society

The theme of BioVisionAlexandria 2012 Conference was "New Life Sciences: Linking Science to Society" which aimed at addressing the role science can play in achieving a fair, equal and just society, not just through scientific research but also policy adjustment. This publication shows the extensiveness and the depth of topics and issues that discussed during the three days conference covering almost all Life Sciences fields. It includes presentations of invited speakers in form of articles to help -in a way- how new life sciences can help society to reach its full potential.”

Research Grants Program: 2004 winner Researches

The Research Grants program offered by the CSSP aims to support outstanding young postdoctoral Egyptian researchers who perform cutting edge research and undertake collaborative investigation approaches across the science and technology spectrum, by offering them postdoctoral research grants as well as help them establish connections with Egyptian and international scientists as well as researchers. "2004 Winners Researches" book summarizes and highlights progress of 2004 grants winners to support and promote their researches.
