Small is Different; The Properties of Material as its Size is Reduced to the Nanometer Scale: Nanotechnology
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences in the Developing World - Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO), organized a lecture that featured Prof. Mostafa El-Sayed, Julius Brown Chair; Regent Professor; and Director of the Laser Dynamic Laboratory, Georgia Institute of Technology, giving a lecture entitled "Small is Different; The Properties of Material as its Size is Reduced to the Nanometer Scale: Nanotechnology".

Held at the Multipurpose Hall, Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center (BACC),the lecture included more than 60 attendees who have expressed their pleasure in attending such enjoyable, constructive and professional session.

The lecture was open to the public especially young Egyptian scientists interested in the field of Nanotechnology.
