Smart Grid: The Future Distribution Network
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP)in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences in the Developing World - Arab Regional Office (TWAS-ARO), is organizing a lecture entitled "Smart Grid: The Future Distribution Network" on Tuesday, 26th of August 2008 at 13:00 at the Auditorium, Bibliotheca Alexandrina Main Building.

The lecture sheds light on "Smart Grid" which is a transformed electricity transmission and distribution network or "grid" that uses robust two-way communications, advanced sensors, and distributed computers to improve the efficiency, reliability and safety of power delivery and use.
