Smart Grid: the Future Power System
As a part of the Visiting Scholar Program (VSP), the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) in collaboration with The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) organized the "Smart Grid: The Future Power System" lecture

It shed light on the primary role of the existing power grids by providing the vital links between the producers of the electric energy and the consumers. Also, it discussed its application, the future development of this technology and its impact on the society.

The lecture was given by Prof. Mohamed A. El-Sharkawi, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, USA.The lecture was held within the Visiting Scholar Program (VSP),
