In continuation of its role in promoting science and technology in the region, the CSSP in collaboration with The German Academic Exchange Service through the DAAD Kairo Akademie supports outstanding young researchers who undertake scientific research approaches across the science and technology spectrum by organizing the "Researchers Guidelines Training Program".

The Training Program offers a complete training for researchers to guide them through the research process; i.e. designing a project, collecting data, searching for funding sources, promoting the research and going through all the important research phases from the preliminary proposal to the project delivery.

Program Schedule

Part One (3 days): (1-3 October 2012) (concluded)

• Module 1: Application Training (Day 1)
• Module 2: Proposal Writing (Day 2)
• Module 3: Scientific Thinking and Argumentation Skills for Problem Solving
  (Day 3)

Part Two (3 days): (12-14 March 2013)

• Module 4: How to Write a Scientific Paper (Day 1)
• Module 5: How to Present Scientific Data (Day 2)
• Module 6: International Networking (Day 3)

• Deadline for sending the application: Saturday 1 September 2012
• The best 30 applicants will be selected to participate, and priority will be given to researchers based on their CVs and experience.
• An email will be sent to the participants by Sunday 16 September 2012
  to confirm their selection.
