In continuation of its role in promoting science and technology in the region, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service through the DAAD Kairo Akademie, supported outstanding postdoctoral researchers who undertake scientific research approaches across the science and technology spectrum by organizing the "Researchers Guidelines Training Program".
The Program offered complete training for researchers on the principles of scientific project management, such as phases and contents of a project, project planning, steering and controlling, team building ideology and team leading qualifications.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- be postdoctoral researchers.
- be specialized in applied sciences.
- not exceed 40 years of age.
The best 30 applicants were selected to participate; and priority was given to researchers based on their CVs and experience.
