Description
A joint forum between the Research Ethics Council, the Councils of Social and Human Sciences and Population Research, Communications and Information Technology Research, and the Culture and Knowledge Research Council at the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), in collaboration with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).
The event is held to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Research Ethics Council.

Purpose of the Event
The forum aims to:
- Celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Research Ethics Council.
- Draw attention to the important studies conducted by the Council.
- Identify the necessary studies that the Council and other relevant bodies need to carry out.
- Promote the culture of scientific ethics in general.
- Highlight ethics as a necessary framework that must guide any scientific or technological development, and direct regulation and legislation.

أهداف الملتقى
- الاحتفال بمرور عشرين عامًا على تأسيس مجلس أخلاقيات البحث العلمي.
- توجيه الانتباه إلى الدراسات التي أجراها المجلس لأهميتها.
- معرفة الدراسات التي يحتاج المجلس وغيره إلى إجرائها لأهميتها.
- نشر ثقافة أخلاقيات العلم بعامة.
- الأخلاقيات بصفتها إطارًا من الضروري أن يقود أي تطور علمي تكنولوجي، ويوجه التقنين والتشريع.
